The Salik system uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to automatically collect toll fees as vehicles pass through designated toll points.

Each vehicle is equipped with a Salik tag - a small electronic device affixed to the windshield that communicates with overhead gantries at toll locations.

How It Works:

  1. Vehicle approaches a Salik toll gate
  2. RFID reader detects the Salik tag on the windshield
  3. Toll amount is automatically deducted from the prepaid account
  4. Driver continues without stopping
